Laura spent 30 years working full-time in the police, whilst managing a home, while being the main carer for young and aging family members.
Over the last few years I have taken a couple of days in January to myself on a retreat of my choice. This made me wish that I had done this every year while I was trying to be all things to everyone except to myself. The retreats allowed me to reflect and realign for the year ahead. I wanted to share this idea with other people.
You will often find me strength training with Emma, bending with Sarah at her yoga classes, gardening, paddleboarding, swimming in the loch or generally being in nature in our wonderfully scenic surroundings.

Sarah is a qualified and experienced yoga and meditation teacher, massage therapist, and wellbeing coach based in Stirlingshire. She works from her welcoming studio, The Nest in Balfron, and also brings her services out into the community, supporting a variety of groups and to retreats and workshops.
A passionate advocate for making wellbeing accessible to all, Sarah is driven by a genuine desire to enhance the lives of those she works with. She believes that cultivating balance — physically, mentally, and emotionally — is the foundation of a fulfilling and happy life.
In her spare time, Sarah loves to be outdoors enjoying her beautiful local forests, mountains and lochs with family and friends.

After 15 years dedicating blood, sweat and tears to a career in activism, I found myself tired, anxious, overwhelmed and a bit burnt out. I decided things needed to change. But, having hung so much of my identity and my purpose on my work, stepping away from that left me feeling lost and rapidly losing confidence.
Fast forward to today and I am so much clearer about who I am and what I want, about my direction, my purpose and my goals. I have more confidence, am less concerned about the judgments of others, I trust my instincts and follow my heart. Most importantly, I learned that my purpose to do good for others doesn't need to be to the detriment of my own wellbeing.
So what changed? I worked with a coach - and that experience empowered me to change my life. And that’s why I know I can help you flourish too.
Now, as a qualified Wellbeing Life Coach, Yoga and Meditation Teacher and Sports Massage Therapist, I am on a mission to use my knowledge and experience to empower you to be the best version of yourself, to show up and fulfill your purpose - without the burn out.
